How it works
Teams of two play speed chess on adjacent boards. Capture a piece and pass it to your partner, who can place it on their board.

An optional Friday event with its own registration and fee. You do not need to attend Bughouse to play in Saturday’s championship. Never played? We’ll explain the rules onsite.
Choose your category
Open: Grades K–12, any rating.
Reserve: Grades K–8, with an average team rating under 1100.

$15 per player pre-registered.
$20 at the door, if space allows.
Bring a partner. Or meet one here.
Each player must register individually. After registering, please email your partner’s name to tournaments@chess4life.com. Players who register without a partner will be assigned one at the event.
